Abortion Access Bill Passed the House By a Vote of 106-37
Last week, after fielding roughly two dozen amendments that would have added restrictions to the current practice of abortion in Vermont, the Vermont House passed H.57, the bill that would codify in state statute the right to abortion services. The bill now heads to the Senate Health and Welfare Committee and will have to go to the Senate Judiciary Committee afterwards. For more information here is a recent VT Digger article.
